Latest BFA affliated courses, education and private club events


We at the British Freediving Association are proud to present courses, workshops and special events from our Gold Clubs, affiliate clubs, Instructors and coaches. Please keep an eye on this page for new events.

If you would like to make a listing on this page, please email training@britishfreediving.org with your submission. You must stick within the parameters of the sections below to be listed. Mark which section you would like your event to be listed:

Section 1) Certification Training Courses - Listings from renewed, insured Instructors only please. Courses listed here for un-certified divers must be AIDA training courses (or equivalent) and must be run to minimum BFA standards of best Freediving Practice*.
OR
Section 2) Non-Certification/Coaching. Listings in this section are strictly for qualified freedivers who are seeking further coaching opportunities. Beginner freedivers should enroll on a full certification course (see section 1).

The BFA recommends that the minimum age for learning to freedive is 18years, or 16years with a parent/guardian signature and Instructor approval.

* The BFA would like to make students aware that they should only enroll on certification courses where they are sure Instruction will be provided directly by an Instructor who is qualified, renewed and Insured to teach the training programme they have enrolled on, and this should be with a recognised training agency.

**No responsibility will be taken by the BFA for courses or Instruction not run to minimum BFA Standards of best Freediving Practice.
